- Check and inspect suspension components: ball joints, tie rods, idler arms, springs, bushings. – After test drive and inspection technician found rock rattling around in rear shield for aftermarket parts also noticed lower control arm heim joints turned to sides possibly causing contact noise – greased and straightened heim joints and removed rock from shield – test drove again and noise is gone
