- Install threaded insert into #3 spark plug hole
- Technician found that the #3 spark plug blew out of the cylinder head – The Ground strap was missing from spark plug and the ignition coil was broken – Inspected Inside cylinder w/ scope, Noticed small dents on piston and cylinder head. Cylinder wall appears OK ENGINE DAMAGE MAY HAVE OCCURRED – NO GUARANTEE Recommend tapping and installing a threaded insert in cylinder head, and installing OE MOTORCRAFT plug and ignition coil. Customer requested we replace all 4 spark plugs CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NGK SPARK PLUGS AND OE IGNITION COIL – NO WARRANTY
